Question Which headphones to combine with creative soundblaster x ae-5

Wich headphones to combine with creative soundblaster x ae-5 for metal music listening from my pc?My budget is between 50 and 130 euros and i want to know all the options i have(cheap and not so cheap).Thank you in advance.

That's a pretty good soundcard with an integrated headphone amp and ESS Sabre DAC. It should pair well with just about any headphones.

I don't know about availability and pricing for you but here are some of the better choices in the price range here in the US. I suggest you read a few reviews about each.

Philips SHP9600.

ATH M40X.

AKG361 and 371.

AKG K553 or K240.

Beyerdynamic DT770.

Some of those may go over your budget but I tried to list all the good entry level stuff I could think of.

The 880 isn't usually available here for under $150 is why I left it out. The 770 will go on sale for $125ish. That little Koss is great for the price.

Another great headphone for the price is the Creative Aurvana Live.

The AKG K553 are superb. I would try them. Great sound for the price.
