I am almost ready to purchase the Panasonic DMR-EX77 for the purpose of archiving stuff from my SKY+ box as well as stuff in higher def. But can anyone tell me exactly what disks to buy. I suppose I am looking at use-once disks for the bulk of the stuff, and a smaller number of re-recordable disks. Recommendations gratefully received 🙂 Thank you JJ

Hi JoJo

I too have the dmr-ex77

I use panasonic's own brand

dvd-r write once

dvd-ram for multiple writing, much more robust than dvd-rw and better perfomance also

Can anyone please recommend where I can but some Panasonic DVD-R disks, I can't seem to find any in stock. And doI have to worry about speed/capacity etc? They seem to come in x8 and x16 and 4.7 g. is that okay?? Thanks JJ

Try this link

http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_ss_m_h_/202-5774083-5695028?url=search-alias%3Dpopular&field-keywords=panasonic+dvd-r&x=0&y=0

The DVD+R will work fine also, I wouldnt worry about speed, and yeah 4.7gig is fine.

Agreed there does not seem to be many panasonic disks around at the moment, however I have also used the Memorex 16 speed dvd /or+, get them from here, 11.99 for 100
