Which amp?

I am thinking of purchasing an amp so that i can hear hd audio from my blu-rays[via playstation 3] but am undecided as to whether to purchase the sony 820[currently available from superfi online],or buy a refurbed onkyo 605? Has anyone out there bought a refurbed onkyo? All views are welcome!

Buy the Sony 820. It's newer, and also buying refurbished products is very unreliable.

sorry mate do you mean unreliable? -if so thats what i thought but apparently you do get one years warranty!
