WHF Team - Any news on 2010 Yamaha Soundbars?

Hi,

Really, really like the look of the latest Yamaha HD audio combatible soundbars, however they are far too long for my corner placed TV. Looking for something around 70 - 80cm, like the YSP-30D or 600 models only HD audio comatible. Not keen on the amp/ sub combi model.

Don't suppose you know if any 'shorter' models will be arriving in 2010?

Ed in Chief Clare, Tom and Ketan have just spent a week in Japan at Yamaha HQ, but I gather a lot of the info is under embargo. Not sure if soundbars per se were mentioned, but would be surprised if there aren't some new models on the way.

Now if Panasonic will just release a 1080p PJ for under £1,000 (e.g. PT-AX300!!) ill be as happy as a 'pig in muck'
