where to buy integrated circuits, semiconducters ect in the uk?

hi all, i'm asking this for a friend of mine..... he is looking to buy LM396 and 74HC14 Integrated circuits in the uk.

I know some of you here often upgrade equipment, or have DIY projects, so thought maybe you would have some suggestions of where to buy these kind of things?
