After many years of trying to develope a decent system I've ended up here -
Clearaudio Compact turntable and MM cartridge,
Clearaudio Basic+ phono stage with their dedicated battery power supply,
Beyerdynamic A2 headphone amplifier,
Beyerdynamic DT1990 PRO headphones,
Full size rack of unknown origins.
The turntable is powered by a very basic 12v rechargeable battery system, which seems to work, but only until I can pick up one of Clearaudio's other dedicated battery power supplies.
The only other improvement currently under consideration would be the Clearaudio Maestro V2 MM cartridge, one of which I owned briefly before the stylus collapsed.
Looking to open up things to stereo amplifier/power amplifiers and speakers, I've basically no idea where to start. I've used an Audiolab 8200A in the past with other equipment, and still have a pair of Tannoy DC6 SE speakers in my garage, but whether they would do the current system justice is beyond me.
