If you're near London you can visit the Sony section of the Sound and Vision department at Harrods. I went down there yesterday to have a gander and was suitably impressed.

If I had £2K in my budget and was in the market to buy a TV now I would definitely buy a 3D one after seeing it. I already have Sky HD so there's content to watch on it sorted from April. I'd probably hold off for the Panasonic sets to arrive as they are getting rave reviews in the US, especially for 2D HD picture where it's been claimed to have reached Kuro performance.

Might be worth phoning your local Currys or Sony Centre as they're taking pre-orders on the Sony KDL-HX903 range and might have a demo model on display.

There's two good ones. HDGURU.com has a review of the VT20 dated March 10th and ConsumerReports.org had a head to head shoot out between the VT20 and the Samsung 7000 and 8000 series sets dated March 12th. Like I said before after what I've read the Panny appears to be cojones del perro.
