Where can I buy legal 720P film downloads?

Does anyone have any good sources for where I can (legally) buy 720P film downloads?

I'd like to avoid itunes as I plan on playing the films on an Android device.

I was going to say iTunes is the obvious one. Although you've ruled it out, maybe there is software out there which could convert an iTunes purchase into something you could read on your android device. Maybe not, if doing so would be illegal.

Thanks for the advice.

There are loads of straming services, but itunes seems to be the only major download store in the UK. The US has places like CinemaNow, but they are not accessible here.
