Hi there i am thinking of going the projector way for my next TV at some point this year. I have seen the 3D TV's and am very impressed but think that the 3D effect would be so much better on a huge projector screen! I already have my 3D amp and will be looking at buying the Sony 3D Blu-ray as well.

Any info on 3D projectors would be most welcome!

Regards

Andy

wow , 6 or 7k , thats a big investement , i reckon in a years time you would get similar for much less , maybe even half that , seeing as there is no 3d content , and it will likely be a year or so before there is much , wouldnt it be better to wait ??

There is one company already producing them, iVision, but at the moment I think its mostly their commercial model. Home models are listed but don't seem to have model specifics yet.

Some of the commercial ones seem home sized but I gather they cost in excess of 20K.

As for home projectors being 6-7K as reported above, remember all 3D is expensive at the moment. You can buy a Samsung 42 tv for around £500 but the cheapest 3D model is £2k. Price of being 1st I'm afraid.

Personally I'd wait on and see how good 3D turns out to be before investing large amounts in it.
