...I switched to Funky Soul, like Brass Construction and others.
My type of sound 👍
Back when I was a 'boy' I worked as one of three House Engineers at the Top Rank in Brighton.
Got to see / hear all different music - and when they brought in their own sound and lights, it was a case of showing them where to wire in, then just sitting and watching the shows.

Each of us often chose nights off based on music we weren't keen on (head banging heavy rock for me 🤬).
Trouble is, I chose to miss a band I'd never heard of....they were American....you've guessed it - Brass Construction!
It was only later that I realised what I'd missed.
Made do with vinyl and CD of theirs since, but always regretted missing them live 🤪.

I think I saw Brass Construction at Zero-6, Gray, circa '76. You know where that was 🙂 If my memory serves me correctly they were great. The only live performance I've ever seen.

Reactions: Gray and Jasonovich
Because this last year i heard a lot of 50´s 60´s, 70´s albums, mostly rock in the 70´s and others also mix of Jazz, big bands and afrobeat, Buddy rich big band live is what i heard more this year, i have spotify and this last year they send a resume of what i´ve listened and said there, that my musical age is 73 and i only have 63
