Whats the difference between a Panasonic Viera TX-P42G10E and a Panasonic Viera TH-P42G10B

Whats the difference between these 2 tv's, most shops seem to be selling the
Panasonic Viera TH-P42G10B ? is this the better tv?

One is european & the other is for the british market.

The E has more user picture adjustments. Go for the E if you want to adjust it closer to the industry standard.

AFAIK the 'B' is the official UK model, no sign of the 'E' on Panasonic's website.

The E model is the rest of Europe with white balance and gamma controls.

No Freesat. Talking of Freesat on the Panasonic's has anyone noticed that the picture quality on SD broadcasts are superior than Sky (fleshtones/colours).

Yes, the 'E' model doesn't have freesat but allows for more extensive picture tweaking as described in other posts. I guess Panasonic gave UK buyers freesat but felt they had to take something away to level the field. It's annoying. The integrated freesat tuner is a bonus, but I'd still rather get the best possible picture quality with all sources. Anyway, you pays your money you makes your choice. I'd opt for the 'E' model if you can get hold of one from a reliable retailer with a warranty that will actually protect you if you encounter any problems...
