Yes, the 'E' model doesn't have freesat but allows for more extensive picture tweaking as described in other posts. I guess Panasonic gave UK buyers freesat but felt they had to take something away to level the field. It's annoying. The integrated freesat tuner is a bonus, but I'd still rather get the best possible picture quality with all sources. Anyway, you pays your money you makes your choice. I'd opt for the 'E' model if you can get hold of one from a reliable retailer with a warranty that will actually protect you if you encounter any problems...
