Whats happening with this forum....

To be honest I hadn't tried. Does it reliably skip to the right place every time? (my old Panasonic DMR-EX78 would often skip to wherever the hell it wanted rather than the end of the ads.)

It won't automatically skip past the ads, but I have mine set to 1 minute forward and 15 seconds back, when the ads appear I press fwd 3, 4 or 5 times (or more if they insist on putting loads of ads on) if I've gone too far I pop it backwards 15 secs at a time to get as close as possible to the start of the prog. I'm getting quite good at skipping ads now, although I do occasionally try to skip ads in live broadcasts :doh:
