Question What wrong with my phono amplifier

Hey I just played vinyl through a phono preamp i bought 2nd hand. Music was playing, and suddenly became louder and shut off completely!?
Have checked fuses but they look fine, have tried some others I had, to no avail.
Any ideas?

Sounds like something in the power board has failed but unfortunately not able to say for sure from the information you provide.

It shut down, then turned back on, died again.
Tried to move it then it turned on, now it's completely dead.
It's an Audio Analogue AA Phono, about +2 years old.

That's not old, and not cheap, any chance it is still under guarantee?
If not you need a good electronics repair man to have a look at it.

You mention that you bought it secondhand, is that a recent purchase if so do you have any comeback with the seller.

I can see from the info provided that the item is 2+ years old but is that from new or since you bought it?

Otherwise a good tech guy is going to be needed as others have mentioned.

Probably from new as I think the amp only came out in 2018
