Cofnchtr:Hi,Fiddle about with the settings - take it off 'dynamic' contrast setting, adjust the brightness etc to suit your veiwing environment. Start with 'normal' setting and work from there.****Not sure of new Panasonic menus but it should have something like that in the picture menu options.Enjoy. You will you know. Thanks cofnchtr. im going to calibrate it tomoz im goin to let it settle in for a day. do u no how to turn on intelligent frame creation? i cant hide the setting. its suppose to be in setup - other settings but its not there. can anyone help?

It won't come up if you are set to THX or Game in the picture menu and the new panas have 2 aditional picture settings which may or may not allow switching of IFC.
