What T.V !??

Hi all,

Sorry if this post is rubbish i'm new to this, any how I am looking at purchasing a new LCD Tv, it will mainly be used for Sky + (Sky HD eventualy) and my xbox 360 Elite games console.

I have looked at numerus t.v's and cant seem to make my mind up, I would like a 1080P 40/42" LCD tv and have a budget of £1,000 to £1,300 pounds, Any help or suggestions on this would be great.

If you're looking for a LCD probably looking at the Sony 40W2000 (about to be replaced) and the new model 40W3000, I've just bought the 40W2000 for £838 delivered, this TV had a rrp of £2000 about a year ago. The new 40W3000 has a rrp of £1900, not many places selling this yet but probably talking about £1500 online.
If you want to look at a plasma probably the Panansonic 42PX70 at around £800, the Panasonic 42PZ700 at around £1350 and the Pioneer 42" which won this months What Hi-Fi? test of 40-42" screens (can't remember model number), you should buy this months What HiFi? mag.
