What Speakers for Onkyo TX SR608

I am looking to purchase my first ever AV receiver an Onkyo TX SR608. I want it mainly for watching movies. So the question is what speakers to get with it. Seen recommendations to get B&W MT-25 or KEF 3005 speakers however these are close to £1000. I think the max I want to spend on speakers is £500. So can anyone recommend any speakers under £500 to go with the Onkyo TX SR608 receiver?

At the moment i have no speakers i just watch movies with the speakers on my TV, so i guess anything will sound better than that setup. Also I have a 2 year old who likes to fiddle with all my AV equipment which i have now locked in an AV cupboard, so I am looking for small and possibly slim speakers but ones which still do the Onkyo SR608 justice.

Any recommendations? I believe What Hifi have recommended Q Acoustics 2000 with this receiver but is there anything better than this for under £500?

The KEF KHT2005.3's go really well with the Onkyo 608 amplifier.

Agreed. It will sound better with the KEF David mentioned than the Q Acoustics.

I heard the 608 with the 3005SE and I thought it sounded great too!
