Hi everyone.

I bought a few months ago a Plasma 42PZ85 and I have just bought the PS3. Now the problem is that I have a old Sony Amp that has no HDMI. It has a optical and a coaxial connection. I also have a DVD Hdd recorder that conected the following mode:

DVD HDD conected to Tv via Hdmi

DVD HDD conected to amp by Coaxial

Now any advice how to link the Ps3 to get best picture and best sound possible?

Your best option for the PS3 for sound is the optical connection. For the picture, hook straight into your TV via HDMI.
