I have just recentley purchased a Samsung LE40B550, SORRY if this has already been asked but. What will work best a sony BDPS370 or an equivalent?

Thanks Kev

depends on your budget i had the sony BDP350 for about 1 yr a real good player but just upgraded to the Pioneer BDP320 and it was the best purchase i made in a long time got it for £199 from sevenoaks which includes a 2yr warranty, grant you the player is slightly slower than a sony but the picture quality will blow u away it really is awesome if your budget can stretch it then the Pioneer LX-52 for £379

Just to advise most of my blu ray dvds would not resume when stopped from where it left off on the sony but not come across this problem on the Pioneer yet. I am not sure on the BDP370 but if your going to get this player i would check as its a bit of a pain when that happens.

All the best which every choice you make

I could be wrong but I believe the resume/stop thing is something which is disc specific and nothing to do with the player. For example the dark knight doesnt let you press stop and then resume from where you left off.

I have the BDP320 and the resume function is not always available (with blu ray)- i think barnsleydave is correct it appears to be disc specific
