My old hitachi cd/radio player (piece of rubbish) is getting old and I have decided to buy a new sound system for my bedroom. I have my eyes set on the Denon D-M37DAB micro hi-fi or the Onkyo CS-515DAB micro hi-fi. These both have the features I want - CD Player, DAB/FM radio, input for ipod, and input for my imac (playing music from itunes). Which should i buy?, and or do you know of any other micro systems, hifi's or amplifiers which have similar features and are in a similar price range £200 - £300. I am planning to buy separate speakers because the ones that come with micro hifi's are not supposed to be that good. I have got it down to 4 pairs of speakers - 'Tannoy Mercury F1 Custom', 'Wharfedale Diamond 9.1', 'Cambridge Audio S30', and 'Mordant-short Avant 902i'. Which of these four speakers should I buy? And if you know of any other speakers in this price range (£100-£200) which are better please let me know.
Any help would be thoroughly appreciated. Thanks!!! 🙂

ps. I have also discovered the Cambridge Audio One which is spose to be good but then again at £350 it's £100 more than the Denon, and there is very little information about on the internet and it doesn't seem to be for sale on many sites at all.

Cambridge Audio gear is only available from Richer Sounds in the UK. (If that is where you are).

Denon + Monitor Audio BR1 works very well. Audio T do a package deal on this.

Alternatively, I would imagine the CA One with S30s would make a good little set-up.
