hi guys and girls

Tell us what kit do you all have at home for watchin movies i bet in reality theres some real moody rubbish out there

Great question nokz! Apart from Clare and her 80" screen, you guys in the 'Dream Factory' are far too coy about the kit you will be using this Christmas, even if you have taken it home to 'test'.

Also, what is on your wish list. You know the things you have decided, after a few noggins in 'The Anglers' or 'Tide End Cottage', that you cannot go through 2008 without. Your best and worst buys. Your dvd film choice. Being the season of goodwill, you can rest assured that none of 'us out here' will ever take the proverbial out of anything you own/want. Well, not too much!!

Thanks Andrew. Never easy knowing what to type in the search engine before posting.

Nain dvd5 v ? There are upscalers out there that would put the naim to shame I am sure.

Pity that Fujitsu don't push their marketing more. I think they are up there with Pioneer.

Would be nice to see a wish list, though.

If there are, I haven't found one yet - and that includes BD and HD DVD machines. This player is phenomenal, and reveals the danger of getting too caught up in specifications rather than performance.

Absolutely - haven't seen a screen yet that's made me want to ditch this one.

If I had one, you'd see it. But pretty happy with the system I have now.

I've just looked up its phenomenal price. Conclusion; you lot are paid too much money for your own good.

It's all about choices - who cares about cars and holidays (or kids!) when you can have amazing home entertainment....

FOR SALE: 1 son, answers to the name of Samuel, 7yrs next month, teeth about to upgrade, good runner.

What about your wish list? Andrew seems pretty happy with his lot (ie. Mrs E has probably put the brakes on after finding out the cost of the Naimdvd5 !!).

Mrs E is the reason we have a 50in Fujitsu rather than a smaller flatscreen - had it here for review and she insisted we bought it rather than send it back as she couldn't put up with watching a smaller screen. And given the amount of time I'm spending on here, at the moment she probably spends more time using the system than I do.

Her reaction on first seeing HD DVD in action? 'What's all the fuss about? The Naim gives a much better picture...'
