What has happened to Gotham?

Last year this forum was fizzing, debating the virtues of [cheap as chips] Gotham cables. Were they just a passing fad? Or have all you guys decided their price was justified by the quality of sound?

I would still well and truly recommend Gotham cables that are to this day rooted in my system were it not for the fact that no one looking for advice would take it seriously having read the WHF review.
