I just spoke to the local Sony shop, and this week i can have the Sony 40W4500 with 5 Year parts and labour cover, and a Sony BDP S350 for £1139, and the cheapest i have found it online for with the parts and labour is £1330. and if i want a PS3 instead of the 350 its another £100(£1239). but i was also looking at the BDP 550 but they have no deals on that at the moment. i also want to get the Sony HT-IS100 but they price it at £674 including 10% discount, but online i can get it for £400, anyway is there much difference between the 350 and the 550.

I know the 350 has no onboard decoding for DTS-HD Master Audio, but the HT-IS100 has.

Is it a good deal

Thanks

The Sony TV with the BDP-S350 sounds like a pretty good deal. The cheaper Blu-ray player is still excellent, and if you can live without DTS-HD Master Audio, it's a great buy. And you can always add a separate AV amp and speakers at a later date for top-notch sound.
