In no particular order and assuming this is non-compilation, non-live and studio LPs by a single artist(?) - also, although I would probably list multiple albums by the one artist, in this case, I'll keep it to one from each:-

Wind and Wuthering - Genesis
The Koln Concert - Keith Jarret
Rush - Moving Pictures
Billy Joel - The Stranger
Ted Hawkins - The Venice Beach Tapes
Bruce Springsteen - The River
Aimee Mann - Whatever
Led Zeppelin - II
Jepp - Jepp
ELO - Out of The Blue
Elton John - Goodbye Yellow Brick Road

Not in any particular order

A space in time.....................Ten Years After
Anything by...........................The Eagles
East River Drive......................Stanley Clarke
Time Out.................................Dave Brubeck
Travelling Wilburys....................Travelling Wilburys
What we did on our holidays.....Fairport Convention
Frampton Comes Alive..............Peter Frampton
The Nearness...........................Jane Ira Bloom
Breakout..................................Swing Out Sister
Dark Side of the Moon...............Pink (what are they called again????)
I wouldnt like to have to put these in any order but an arm twist would put Ten Years After at the top.

Dont know why I have double line spacing.......Anyone help please...

Awesome! Respect to you fr0g! I thought I was alone in thinking this album is something of a classic. I'm still looking for an LP copy but the music is so good that CD will suffice...for now.

I have pretty much everything by Mark lanegan (except the QOTSA (wasn't keen) ), but this album is as close to perfection as is possible. Not a single bad track IMO.

in fact, for that reason this list doesnt really reflect the majority of the music i listen to. i was just trying to remember the albums i can stand to listen to end to end, and these are the closest that sprang to mind.

Marillion - Fantastic, i'm not the only one who puts 'Clutching At Straws' as one of their favourites. Funny enough i was playing this last night before i'd seen this list, and it's as good now as the very first time i played it (though last night it has developed a skip on track 3). Steve Rothery has never been given the credit he deserves. A magnificent guitar player.

Future Sound Of London - only album i've heard is 'Dead Cities' and i just can not get into it despite many years of trying.

Slayer - surely 'Reign In Blood' is better.

also great to see the inclusions of Faith No More and Screaming Trees - takes me back a long way.

FSOL, Dead cities is not an album for a first listen to a band...Lifeforms is an ambient masterpiece, perfect for headphones whilst lying in bed.

Slayer... Well Reign in Blood is excellent, but I like the slower stuff. But Angel of death is a fantastic album opener.
