What are these?

I bought these cone spike things a few weeks. They come in a set of 4. I think they are isolation stands for hifi equipment but i'm not sure i was hoping somebody on here would be able to work it out better. They made by a company called Pyramid. They're made of machined aluminium.

I would also say they are upside down??
