What Amplifier for Linn Sneaky DS?

i have not got a clue on what amp to partner my sneaky ds. i do not want to go for one of the linn amps because to my knowledge they have recieved mixed reviews so would i be looking along the right lines of say the new cyrus range? or the roksan kandy k2? also what about speakers? nobody seems to be able to help LOL

the sneaky's built in amp is ok for budget speakers. as a source the sneaky sounds as good as a 2k cdp.

Before you dis-miss the Linn amp range, go and treat yourself to a proper dem. Linn has a mixed history for reviews but Linn kit really does work extremely well with each other. A while ago What Hifi reviewed the new Linn Majik integrated against several other makes including Roksan. My local Linn dealer who also stocks Roksan would tell you that both the Linn and Roksan amps are very good, but the Linn (which is the same price) is better.

i may eventually go for the Linn Komponent 104 speakers which are the recommended speakers to go with the sneaky. my dealer reckons they will sound great with the sneaky's inbuilt amp
