What amp for Focal profile 918

Hi all,

I need some advice on a matching amp for Focal Frofiles 918. Some say they are dificult to 'drive'. Also they seem to be a bit on the bright side? Can anyone advice me?

Have not heard the Profile series, but I had Chorus 807 and now have 816 floorstanders and didn't found them bright using with NAD kit.

Try NAD C165/175 combo or Roksan K2?

i have the 908s and do find them very forward although stunning in terms of detail - i ran mine with arcam initially but have moved them to my second listening room now and use them with a cyrus 7 amp and to be honest sound pretty sweet with both

Thanks for the advice. Today i went to a store and heard them on Arcam A28 and A38. There was huge difference between the 2. But it sounded very nice. I also would like to hear them with Primare I30 and Marantz PM15S2.

Does anyone has experience with both the Arcams, Primare or Marantz?
