How about a look over the Harman Kardon HK980? Seems like it has a decent spec, but short on reviews alas. £250 at Richer Sounds (think the SRP is nearer £350 or thereabouts).

NAD 355, Marantz 7003?

You need a warm or at least a neutral amp with RS6s...

As above

With your set-up the NAD C355BEE or a 2nd hand NAD C352 integrated would be a good choice

Also; if you're lucky enough to find one on eBay; an Arcam FMJ A32 would sit very well with your system as well

Another left-field suggestion; get a hold of a high-end Sansui integrated, circa the late 70s - thinking Sansui AU517 or the like. Superb build, ahead of their time, totally over-engineered; company strapline of the day "Only hi-fi. Everything hi-fi." - a shame they went downmarket thereafter.
