Wall mounting question....

Guys,

I'm sure many of you have your screens mounted on the wall, obviously i want to channel the cables in the wall. My question is regarding the mains supply and whether you have use of your mains conditioners? Have you run a seperate spur up the wall with a new socket behind the screen or extended the mains lead for the TV so it can be plugged into a conditioner at floor level?

I have put a new socket behind the tv, that run's through the wall and comes out at my av cabinet and terminates as a plug into my monster mains conditioner.

I also have a copper line alpha lead from the back of the tv to the new socket.
