I'm about to order the new Panny 37X10 and would like to wall-mount it. This is uncharted territory for me. There must be some kind of standard which twins bracket sizes to TV sizes but I don't have a clue what I'm looking for. The Panasonic website is no help either. It's all very well the bracket ads saying 'for 37-42" TVs' or'max weight 60kgs' etc but how do I know that the TV will actually fit the bracket? Could some kind soul advise me whather the 37X10 is wall-mountable and what I should be looking for to make sure I have the correct bracket for the TV? Also, how easy is it to connect leads to the TV once it is wall-mounted?

If I sound like a gormless git, I apologise! Many thanks.

The TV has the standard Plasma versa type configuration on the rear of the TV so something like these 2 links will do the job.

I had a panny 37 inch. You can order it with bracket from your dealer or order a universal bracket (obviously at extra cost). The instructions for both are fairly straightforward.

You will need an extra pair of hands. The set is both heavy and unweildly. In my experience it is easier to insert your leads into the back of the set before hanging it on the bracket.

Good luck and a good choice. I still think the panny plasma is better than my current Sony 40W4000 "best buy."

What people are failing to point out here is if YOU hang your TV on the wall and God forbid it falls off, contents insurance will not pay out in most cases.

Safest and easiest way in the longrun is speak to whoever is supplying your TV and ask for the details of an accredited installer. Do it this way and your beloved purchase will be covered.

Thanks to everyone who took the time and trouble to reply to me. True Blue is quite right, nothing in the world would possess me to hang the TV myself (I'd lay awake at night waiting for the crash as it lunged to the ground!). Richer Sounds do have an accredited installer but they're hapy for me to supply the bracket and I'm trying to get one cheaper than they would charge.

Richer Sounds are now offering the 37" Panny for £529.95.

Something else to think about is whether you will require the ability to pull the tv away from the wall. I have my 37"Panny on an extendible arm and have build a false front around it. With the extendible bracket I can access cables and angle the tv if sitting off centre. Makes life a lot easier when changing/adding/cleaning cables.
