W4500 dark scene detail problems

Has anyone else found little detail in the black areas? i.e anything
that is dark like shadows or a dark suit jsut appear all black

ive tried various settings is
my set faulty? as my old pany px60 had better detail in dark areas

Without knowing what your source is have you tried settting the HDMI setting to Limited rather than Normal/Full? On PS3 you need Limited otherwise the blacks go t@@s up on my Kuro.
