Hello

I am noticing that the on the TV there is a mute icon displaying near the top of the left-hand side of the screen

It dissapears only when i click home on the remote

Any ideas why this is happening??

And its not the TV mute

Have you pressed the mute button on the remote control?? (Top right of the handset)

yep

Only activating HOME and restting the box fixes it.......

haha no probs dude, thinking of threatening Virgin media (in a cancellation aspect..) so i can get a new Samsung HD box.....here's hoping
