Very basic newbie question

Apologies in advance for my lack of knowledge but I have just purchased a Samsung PS50A457 Plasma and find the speakers pretty hopeless. Would someone mind recommending a pretty basic/ cheap 2.1 speaker system that would suit? Many thanks, Charles

What else will you be using with it? Sky? DVD player? Blu-ray Disc machine? One of those newfangled video games toy things?

Andrew, we'll be using Sky + and XBOX 360 for games and DVDs.

PC speakers would probably be enough for most...instead of shelling out hundres of pounds, depending on your budget, I would go for one of these..

Just plug into the headphone socket and i'm sure you'd be impressed with the improvement.
