Hi, can anybody tell me if a 0.5 metre version of the Van den hul 102 mk 111 interconnect, be any good to use between a Cyrus Aca7 pre amp, and 2 cyrus power /PSX-Rs ???

And also, the cables have at one end, a label with "ground end " on..... i have read somewhere that the ground end should be plugged in at the source ... ie CD player...... so if i used this, should ground end be plugged in at the pre amp ?

Any help would be apreciated .

I used this cable for a long time and was happy with it, now i use a Furutech cable.

The Furutech gives more sparkle and sound field.

Ground end should be plugged in the source, like cdp or in your set up the pre amp.

Hi,

The Vanden hul is okay however I found it a little harsh on the mids, and a little closed in, it does have a full bass though. The kimber pbj or timbre, chord cobra 3 are more natural and neutral sounding to my ears.

All the best.

Steve.
