Hi guys. Was just talking to a dealer about buying a Van Den Hul Flat 1.3.

He advised against it as the cable is so inflexible that it has caused damage to the connectors in their blu-ray players and amps in their demo room. He even said that they have stopped stocking the cable because of this

Was wondering if anyone has had any similar experiences or if the dealer was just trying to promote another cable

Any comments would be appreciated

Thanks

Hi Daveh75,

It is very inflexible but the picture quality is great, I am using one now. It does have a tendency to fall out to the socket on the back of the set, this is mainly because the socket is angled vertically from the horizontal socket on the back of my blu-ray so there is a twist to the cable which doesn't help. What I will mention is Comet stock Philips HDMI cables which I also use in my set up and there is no noticeable difference in picture quality between the two, it is also a well made and flexible alternative.
