V+ Connections

Hi already a Virgin customer, but I have just booked to have V+ installed to go with my new Panasonic TH42PZ80B. I would like to buy quality cables to replace the Virgin Standard ones.

What will I need HDMI only or HDMI and Scart?

Intend Buying QED, does anyone have any recommendations?

Just a good quality hdmi lead eg QED. No need for a scart

You will also need an optical cable if you want surround sound. The V+ box can only send stereo through HDMI. I have Chord 1.3 HDMI and QED optical. Looks / sounds great.
