I have noticed that the amount of UV coming from my LCD telly seems a little extreme. It makes the luminescent buttons on my remote glow like crazy. I would like to know if there is any way of reducing it, as I am pretty sure that it is giving me the headaches I have been having.

There are UV emissions from all TVs, but the amount is strictly regulated, and should be so low as to cause no health effects. If you are viewing in a darkened room, that can cause eye-strain, which I guess may contribute to the headaches, but I think I'd seek medical advice or visit an optician.

Must be that its a fake Sonnee Brazia I bought off the back of a lorry. :) I might try watching with the lights on though. kinda kills the atmosphere, but not as much as a throbbing head.
