Useful i-Pod touch apps

My wife got me a 32g i-Pod touch for my birthday the other day. Can anyone recommend any good apps to download?

I've added BBC iplayer, Sky+ remote and a spirit level so far. There are probably loads of good useful apps that I just wouldn't think of looking for.
