Hi, does anyone know if I can get a USB to optical convertor that will work from the USB socket on my DS212j? I'm after something that will ideally draw its power from the USB socket.

As an aside, have any other DS Audio users noticed its responsiveness has gotten slower? I recently updated it on the NAS, and also my iphone to ios7, and there is now a delay when pressing play/pause that never used to be there. :?

And nope, my DS is fine. But then I don't use iOS. Given that iOS has been updated recently perhaps the problem lies there?

That kinda thing, but not sure if it (or others like it) needs drivers to work.

Thanks for the app info, had my suspicions it might be linked to the iOS update.

After my WD NAS died I recently replaced it with a Synology D213 Air which is plugged into my MF V-Link and works just fine, So much less faff than switching on a PC and a joy to use Audio Station controlled by my Android tablet

You have also to visit Alibaba website for that puprose. I am sure you can find your solution from there.

Thanks
