USB DAC/AMP doesn't switch to current source

Hi! I just bought a FIIO K7 DAC/AMP (my first). Love the sound BUT...
I listen to one source (say, music over JRiver). All good. I then switch over to Netflix on Chrome to watch a show - no sound. I have to close JRiver in order to get sound on Netflix. It's as if JRiver is holding the connection to the K7 so Chrome can't use it.

Has anyone any idea on how to fix?

Check inside JRiver if the FIIO is configured to use WASAPI. If so, set it to Direct Sound.

The advantage of WASAPI/Exclusive is indeed a exclusive lock on the audio device.
No system notifications at full blast while listening to a string quartet.
It also provides automatic sample rate switching.
Direct Sound mixes all audio streams and resample them if they differ from the default set in the audio panel.

Thanks, Vincent. I switched over to Direct sound from ASIO - no change in the behaviour, unfortunately.

Weird.
Does disabling exclusive mode in the audio panel helps?
Reboot?
