USB cable for laptop to TV?

Hiiii

I have a Samsung Windows7 laptop and I want to play the videos inside my laptop and PROJECT it on my Sony LED Smart TV.

Do I need to buy a two-way USB cable to do so? If so, what sort? :?

And once I buy the cable, how do I play it on the TV?

Doesn't it have an HDMI port if it does i would use that.

No. You can't use USB.

Depending on the outputs your laptop has, and inputs your TV has you'll need an HDMI, DVI or VGA cable (and mini-jack to RCA for audio if using VGA and DVI as they only carry video)

Sorted, thank you. I do have a HDMI port on the TV and laptop and it works!
