Just announced in the States: 5.1-channel Pioneer 3D-capable receivers starting from just $229, complete with PLIIz, Bluetooth music streaming and more. 7.1-channel models to follow in next few days, apparently. Full story here

maybe i should how does the $229 price compare to the price of the non 3D amps?

so that we can have an idea of the % difference that we may see in UK/EU?as the 3D able pass through hardly seems to be a big cost, but new cable might be.

FWIW, the nearest old model to the 820 seems to be the VSX-819H-K, which sells in the States for the same £300, while the 520 equivalent is the VSX-519H-K, at $200. But then those models don't have Bluetooth, either...
