Hi,
New to the forums so please be nice.
I am looking to go HD and as such am a little confused as to what things to go for. I currently have:
[*]Hitachi PDP3000
[*]Denon 3803
[*]Pioneer 868ais
[*]Totem Arros x 2 with dreamcatcher sub, center and compacts x2
[*]Mirage x2 for rear surrounds (can't recall the name of the speakers - but they look like a fencer's mask).
I am looking to upgrade everything bar the speakers (so if anybody wants to buy the other stuff let me know
), but I keep flipflopping on what to go for.
I am really keen on the Panny BD35 mainly due to the option to make it region-free (for both Blu and DVD). My budget is somewhere between £2-3k for the lot, so that leaves around £2-2.5k for the amp and screen. Screensize I would like is from 46-50". (Projection is not an option, although would have been nice.) The system would be for a dedicated room. While the idea of the Pioneer screens is nice, I think they are a little overpriced. I would be using the system for both movies and the occasional bit of music.
So any ideas?
Muchos gracias in advance,
Saqib.
