Hi all.

Quick question if you can help me out with your thoughts please. Do you think it would be worth upgrading the REL to something like a BK XLS200 or B&W 610 or would i have to spend much more money for an improvement?

I like quick tuneful bass that can go deep when necessary. To be used with Onkyo 805 and MK Sound M series speakers and also for occasional 2 channel duties with my Hifi. Room is 3m x 3m only.

Many thanks.

I'm afraid, thoughts are all I can give you on this.

The Q100 was a good little sub and I think you may have to spend a bit more, maybe £800 or so to get a worthwhile difference.
I would rate Velodyne, especially the ones with EQ. The spl 800R was a great little sub, but may have been replaced by now, but there will be something similar.

You could always demo subs at various prices, to see at what price you get a good improvement, and go from there.
