Upgrade to Marantz System?

Hi, I'm new to the forum - first post!

I've recently resurrected my old Marantz CD Player (CD4000) and Amp (PM4200) from storage as moved into a new house where I have space for it. They run through KEF Cresta 2 speakers. I have just added a Beresford Caiman for my digital music and spotify etc.

I've got the urge to upgrade and am just wondering what people think may be the best way to go. I am happy leaving the CD player for now as I'm using spotify alot and can also use it as a transport through the Caiman. So it seems like an amplifier or speaker upgrade (or both) is the way to go? I think I will have approx £5-600 to spend.

Any suggestions?

Update: After reading several reviews and opinions, I'm now about ready
to plump for the Arcaydis DM1's. Would anybody be able to suggest a good
amplifier match for these? I'm quite willing to go second hand and have
always admired Audiolab amplifiers. Would these be a good match for
DM1's?
