Hi All,
I currently own a Denon 1909 which i purchased when they first came out and have to say, loved it. I have recently extended my house and have a much large room and i am in the process of upgrading my kit, i have a 7.1 configuration and currently use Mission MV speakers (i know, it’s all i could afford at the time)
My new kit will consist of a Panasonic 50Vt30, Pioneer LX55 and at some point the Monitor audio RX5 AV12 speakers (mid next year for the speaker upgrade). Need to balance this out to pass the wife approval process.. So, i have 2 questions:
1, In terms of the amp, is this a worthwhile upgrade from the Denon to the Pioneer?
2, for the next 6 months or so i will be using the Pioneer with the current speaker set-up, i know they are not the best speakers around but will i notice a good improvement with the new amp or will the speakers prohibit the capabilities of the amp upgrade. thanks and looking forward to your responses.
