It is old style classic Rega Quattro speaker cable. Simple, good price, good sound and flat. I used them for my home cinema. The rest of cables in my system is Cardas, QED and some Nordost. BR.

If under your carpet there is underlay, cut a slot in that.

Lay the cable in the slot, then cover the cable and slot with duct tape.

Re-lay and tension the carpet, job done.

Avoid anything made by Hi-Fi cable manufactures, as there just rip off merchants, apart from that there are some excellent suggestions in the posts above.

Back to the OP, any dealer will sell good flat cable suitable for flooring. Look at Chord. Also browse at Future Shop online for example.
