hi i have a samsung tv with a samsung dongle attached for internet tv and software upgrades although on samsungs website is is saying there is a available software upgrade my tv is not detecting it thrugh the dongle has anyone have any ideas why this is so many thanks

Have you tried serching for the update via the freeview tuner?

I found that update detection via internet didn't occur until days after it being shown on their website.

I have even downloaded updates, followed the instructions to do it via a usb drive and my tv still told me that I was already up to date. Then days later it detected the update via the internet and I ran the install I had previously tried to do.

So give it week and your TV will probably flash up a detection message. I've no idea why but don't worry just yet.
