I have a Samsung UE55C7000 and am looking for the best way to optimize it. I have tried the tool on many Disney DVD's but cant get it to work on the contrast part, i have tried messing around with it but cant get it right. Is there any software i can download or purchase that is not too expensive but does the job, oh and is not too complicated.

I'd be keen to give this a go, where can you buy these from?

I have tried the THX optimizer but it does not seem to work for me as i cant adjust the brightness to what it advises. I have a Samsung UE55C7000 and i believe they are difficult to setup with the THX etc due to the nature of the TV (LED Backlight). I could be wrong but any help would be appreciated from somebody that knows better than me.

Hard to say for sure, but id guess you have some form of 'LED DIMMING' feature switched on which means the backlight changes with whatevers onscreen. You cant possibly calibrate a screen in this state so that feature needs turning off.
