TV aerial

Hiya can any body please tell me if i can some how,

1. TV coax direct into Sony AV Receiver.

2. The above into the digital input of the AV Receiver.

3. All the above then upscaled.

4. If poss were to put what.

Why would you want to connect a TV aerial co ax to an AV receiver? The only aerial co ax that should be connected is an FM radio aerial.

The TV aerial should be connected direct to the TV or PVR.

The fellow may have been reading somewher that the AV Receiver can upscale the likes of DVD and Blu Ray pictures and got a little mixed-up ?

I am not sure if this is possible. But I remember reading something online, maybe on Maplin's website. Try them.

The only way it would be possible to connect a TV aerial direct to an AV receiver is if that receiver contained a TV tuner. As far as I am aware no receiver sold in this country has a TV tuner.
