I bought a Samsung (PS) 50inch Plasma HDTV back in September, been happy with it so far, the Xbox 360 looks outstanding on it
A couple of weeks ago, while in ASDA, I spotted a a HDMI player for a penny under £20.........I couldn't resist, heading home in happiness mode, I hooked one up via HDMI to my 19 inch Goodmans HDTV in my room....perfect, picture was a bit cloudy, but I sorted it......onto the beasty 50 inch HDTV, Hooked it up via HDMI (to the third port on the side, its easier as its wall-mounted) on the DVD screen it looks fine, but as soon as I put a disc in, I get about 10 seconds of playback before the screen goes black, I get sound through the red-white outputs but no picture, I have tried both players, and both cables but with no avail (but it works fine through SCART, albeit with a much lower quality picture)
Can someone please help? (I have just bought I am Legend, and I am dying to watch it through HDMI)
(BTW, Im pretty good with TVs, but not great)
